Permanent Salary circa £28,000 to £30,000 LC/City/8338 Senior Legal Biller My client is a global Legal firm who are currently recruiting for a Senior Legal Biller to join their lively central London Base team. As a Senior Legal Biller it is expected that you will have at least two to three years experience as a Legal Biller and experience of Elite or a similar legal software system would be an additional advantage. We are only at this stage seeking candidates who can demonstrate stability on their CV. This reputable legal firm are immediately interviewing and we would be interested in hearing from professional Legal Billers who are interested in finding out more about this role. Senior Legal Biller The main duties of the role will include: 1. Dealing with billing queries and analysis 2. Providing detailed financial information in support of bills 3. Responsible for telephone enquiries from Partners and fee earners and liaising on a regular basis 4. Production of draft and finalised bills, matter management issues such as write-offs, time transfer charge rate maintenance and credit notes; matter analysis, e.g. recap of cost and time, WIP, statistical breakdown of each Fee Earners time on a matter; 5. Producing billing guides; time and disbursement transfers and write offs. Please ensure you can demonstrate on your CV and within your career to date a sound (at least two years) of legal Billing experience alongside a vibrant and outgoing personality.The successful candidate must have previous legal billings experience and using Elite would be a distinct advantage as you will need to be able to hit the ground running. Previous legal exposure is a must for this role.
